Thermage® Face

Does it hurt?

The Thermage system incorporates vibration on the face and body treatments, which has been shown to provide patient comfort. You’ll feel a brief heating sensation when the treatment device’s tip touches your skin, followed by a cooling sensation to help protect your skin and minimize any discomfort.

Are there common side effects?

Some patients have temporary redness or minor swelling after treatment, but this usually goes away within 24 hours.

How Thermage® Face Works?

As we age, we lose about 1% of our collagen thickness per year. Thermage® Face uses radiofrequency to heat deep collagen. This heat causes an initial collagen contraction which then stimulates the collagen to grow. The collagen growth occurs over six months to produce the final lifting result. It works well for people with mild to moderate skin laxity, generally ages 35 to 65, or anyone of any age who has previously had a facelift.
